Re: New Game Names & Storylines
Name of Game: The Legend of Zelda: The Iron Hand
Storyline: Set a year after Twilight Princess.
Link has returned to his normal life wrangling, cowboying, chillaxin in general. Link recieves a letter from Rusl, stating that he is in distress, but not much else. Link takes up blade and shield and makes for the south, where Rusl was last seen. He comes upon the land of Escontur, where he is assailed by a group of soldiers. He is only able to escape by diving into a river, whereupon he is found by a ragged old man, who takes him in. Link discovers that hte land was at one point ruled by a benevolent Royal Family, but one of their generals, General Eryk staged a revolution and overthrew them. He has gone mad with power and plans to wage war upon the still-recovering nation of Hyrule. When Link drives off a soldier who attempts to kill the old man, the old man reveals himself to be Dakur, the former king whom was usurped from power. Link must avert a war before it is too late.
New Equipment:
Grabshot (Addition to clawshot): Can be used to grab enemies and fling them about, or alternativley to reel them towards you (Some enemies will be more fighty than others)
Cloak of Subtelty: Renders Link practically invisible to most enemies, but if he uses certain offensive items, he will be revealed.
Gameplay:
Enemies: Opponents vary in intelligence according to what kind of creature/person you are, and quite a few are a challenge to take on, while others are simple. More organized enemies will work in groups and strategize to take you out.
Melee Combat: If an opponent is skilled enough to disarm him, or if he is forced to enter combat without his blade, Link will have to get his hands dirty with some basic brawling moves.
3 Difficulty Levels: Adventurer, Swordsman and Hero.
