We had a big discussion about this (when Superganny was around, for those who remember him
) and some of us agreed that the only person who'd write such glorious descriptions of Tingle must be... well, Tingle himself. And in his new game, Tingle has the ability to dimension warp. So, in theory, Tingle could've warped to the Tower of the Gods in the adult timeline and written his own story.
Or we could just ignore it's importance and call it an easter egg. whatever makes your clock tick
