BiC: Sarah walked down a long, dark hallway, her shoes scuffing against the wood floor. Her backpack was hanging loosely from one shoulder, and bounced against her back as she walked. Inside it a few books, a journal, and some pencils rattled.

The young poet had just recently returned to the Dome, after being randomly sent off to another world. Though it had ended up being a good thing -- she'd learned a good deal more about her magic, and how to control it -- she was now very suspicious of the building. She had taken to carrying her backpack everywhere with her, and her daggers were always in their sheathes at her side. A few strands of blonde hair fell down into her face, and she flipped them out of the way.

There it was. Her door. Made of sturdy oak, and totally, absolutely normal. ...most of the time. Without thinking, Sarah reached out and pulled open the door, thinking wistfully of her bed. She swung it shut behind her, and looked around... only to stop dead.

"D*mmit! Again?!" she whirled, only to find the door had disappeared. Of course. "I am getting really sick of this..." she muttered darkly. "Exploring new worlds is all very well and good, but wouldn't it be nice if sometimes, just SOMETIMES, doors actually led to where they're supposed to?" Sighing, she looked around her.

She was in another hallway, but this was nothing like the one she had just left. It seemed to be... shimmering? Sarah blinked, seeing a trace of a rainbow out of the corner of her eye. What the hell was this place? It looked like something off the set of a bad kid's show to her...

Footsteps. Sarah turned, hands flying to her daggers. A small blue ball-type thing rounded a corner, and looked up at her. She stared back down at it. It had plants growing out of its head. The poet blinked. "...what the hell?"
