Re: Love Waits for No One... But Zorlo (Sakume)

The fencer looked at the tank, and then back at Selene, who gave him big, bright eyes. Man eating fish, or the woman he loved... worse case scenario would be he had to kill the thing. Even so... that wasn't a good option, since Selene wouldn't like it. The only decisions here sucked... greatly. The fencer still smiled, although nervously, at the concept of helping the man eating fish, but still, it wasn't like it could hurt the fencer any.

"Zorlo, please help it," the red winged angel said, and the fencer let out a sigh as he turned towards the tank.

Damn empathic fish, Zorlo thought silently as he placed his hand over the tank, and suddenly...

Snap!

The green haired man looked at the brown fish attached to his arm at the middle of the forearm, grinding its teeth into his chain-mail. It was obviously a very stupid creature. Suddenly, the fencer recalled a good deal about this creature and tried to shake it off, accidentally sending it flying across the room.

"ZORLO!" Selene yelled as he pointed at the fish. The creature stood like a dog and walked back towards the two and sat down like a dog. "Oh..." Selene said as he moved towards the fish and started petting its head. "Did that mean Zorlo hurt you, huh fishie?" she asked, completely disregarding the fact the fish had bitten Zorlo. Even so, the fencer only smiled as Selene looked back at him. "Zorlo, say sorry to the Hickleback."

The Aura Master narrowed his eyes at the fish, and the fish narrowed its eyes back. The green haired man wasn't about to apologize to a fish... but in this case, he might have needed to. "All right... fish... I'm sorry..." the fencer said as he extended his arm and the fish chomped down on his hand at the wrist. The fencer almost, but didn't, winced as the fangs lightly broke his skin. A seriously stupid creature.

The fish sat silently, gnawing on the fencer's arm, intent on tasting his sweet blood. Selene smiled at the fish and looked at it with large, loving eyes. "Zorlo, can we keep it?!" she asked him as the angel took a step closer.

Zorlo looked at the fish on his arm for a moment, and then at Selene, and then at the fish again. He could simply toss the fish into the ocean and hoped they never saw it again, but he could also let her keep it as a pet and take care of it. The only question was which choice was the better?

Finally, the fencer submitted. "All right, you can keep him as a pet, Selene, but only if you take care of him. This fish and I aren't going to be the best of friends, of this I am already certain," he told her as he shook the fish until it came off his wrist and landed on the ground, looking up at the fencer. This was going to be a long relationship with this man eating fish.
