Re: Twisting Shadows and Deadly Darkness
IC: After many months of training and wandering, I have finally mastered the use of my new powers. My previous powers are gone, even my body seemed to have changed since that dreadful day. I seem to be a creature of shadows; even my blood is made of it. I found that I can use this new power… this Shadow Energy, as I call it, to manipulate my body and shadows to do amazing things.
I wandered into a town, a place where I could interact with other beings for the first time in months. I looked at a window, studying my reflection. I was taller than before, probably by a good six inches. I was significantly more muscular, but not bulging with muscles. I looked like I could hold my own in a fight. My skin was tanned a bit more, I was looking less like a creep every day.
I noticed my robes were tattered and worn, the rope belt now wet and slightly green. I walked into the nearest store and used what remained of my money to buy some new ones, along with a nice sash to hold it together. I pulled my hood up and began to walk towards the edge of the village.
I had not merely chosen this village at random; I had a stop to make. I looked up at the dilapidated shack that stood before me. I knocked on the door and opened it, waving hello to the short balding man that stood before me. To any human he would appear to be your average blacksmith, but to my trained eyes I could see he was a great and famous demon smith.
“Did you have what I asked you to make?” I asked, referring to a letter I had sent him a few weeks ago.
“Yes, it is ready. It was a challenge to find the same material used on your sword, and even harder to create the chainmail without touching it. But I have it, it is on the table,” the demon said as he walked back to his work, a simple pair of horseshoes.
I looked at the chainmail on the table; it shone like the silver color of my blade. As I watched it I felt bad that nobody would see it under my robes. I took my robes off and put the mail on, I felt it bond with my soul and mind, just like the katana. I put my robes back on over it and walked away.
“What about my payment?” the demon asked.
“Oh right, here,” I said as I threw my old and now useless cape at him.
“Thanks, I have been waiting for this for years,” he said as he caught it.

Now that my training is done for now, there is nothing for me to do besides resume my quest for knowledge and wisdom. I stroked my newly grown beard as I pondered this, a habit that I had developed recently. I flew away from town using my new powers, the shadows from the clouds giving me incredible energy.
Maybe I will return to the Dome, meet some old friends, or I could adventure a bit, and make some new ones. To be honest, I didn’t really care. All I wanted was something to test my new abilities on, new abilities that don’t come from any other person than me. I am Keldar, the Shadow Weilder.
OoC: There, it is over now. I'm gonna post my new update for Keldar. I know it sucked, but still, it was my first fic ever.
