That's my new hope. With effort, Aounoma can make a consistant child timeline with few holes, while leaving old games in the adult timeline and forgetting about the inconsistencies within. Connecting TWW to FS or ALttP, ignoring the presence of Kotate and Koume in the Oracles, and guessing the time period that the Seal War happens (probably between FSA and ALttP)
I hope that PH will connect TWW to either TMC or FS to finalize the placement of the FS arc, since there's good evidence of ALttP coming after FSA.
The split can work to our advantage, if you and other loyal linearists will just hang in there for a while. Have hope.

Wouldn't it be just as easy to put all games except TWW and PH in the Child Timeline? I was under the impression that TP was attempting to bridge a gap between OoT and ALttP, what with the explanation of the Sacred Grove being the ruins of the ToT and the Sages sealing Ganondorf away in a Dark Realm after he apparently gained access to the Triforce with a band of thieves.
TWW felt like an attempt to break away from the old games, what with King Daphnes telling Link and Zelda that the land they find will not be Hyrule, and they will not be bound to the past the way he and Ganondorf were.
OMG... what if Aonouma intends never to bring Ganondorf back from death in the Adult Timeline?
