The Inuyasha dub really got to me. When Inuyasha stole the divine jewel (OMG SPOILER) and he spoke, something inside my head went 'I just stole the divine jewel. Believe it!' Kagome also talks in a much whinier and annoying voice. I wouldn't know about the censorship though (although Inuyasha DOES get impaled every 5 episodes).
