BiC: Bella jumped slightly as another figure appeared and, without warning, punched the robed man in the face, sending him flying back. Well then... that works too I guess, she thought, quickly aiming again.

It soon became clear that this situation would not be resolved without a fight, so the Hylian joined in. She aimed not to kill, simply intending to injure the man enough so that he could not continue the fight. He dodged the first shot, but her next two found purchase in his leg, spending blood spattering down onto the sand. A moment later, and another arrow pierced his other leg.

Bella smiled grimly. A few more good shots to his leg and he'd be unable to stand and continue the battle. She drew another arrow, looking around for the kid as she did so. She paused mid-draw, realizing that he had apparently disappeared. What the...? Her eyes widened as she looked back to the robed man and realized he had just sent a blast of dark energy her way. She dropped to a low crouch, just barely avoiding it. She turned the motion into a fluid roll as he began a barrage of the attacks, and stood, drawing and firing another arrow.

Taking time for the attack cost her, though -- he had not finished his assault yet. She stumbled back as a blast of dark energy hit her, clutching her stomach with her free hand. Ow... The arrow had hit him, though, forcing him to leave off attacking her, for the moment at least. Before he could turn to her again, the teenager that had appeared earlier was attacking him again. Bella gratefully took the moment to catch her breath, still clutching her stomach, before drawing another arrow and returning to the battle.
