2: I think even David Anez (BnG) used Paint outside of effects.
As for the comic, it looks nice, but it's waaaay too big, and the dialogue is choppy. Plus you have the forbidden 'White Space' at the bottom (the place where authors make really long credits and try to fit in one or two final jokes).
Fix a few more errors (I don't have time to tell you right now, but I'm sure someone will) and you should be fine. Nice first attempt.
