Re: ALttP "Parallel Worlds" rom hack

I have a couple questions...

First of all, does it feature an engaging storyline with a lot of cutscenes and storyline events sprinkled throughout the game that helps to move the gameplay along?

Secondly, does it feature any sort of new gameplay element that wasn't featured in AlttP besides a new layout? Such as different weapons, different things to interact with, and different kinds of puzzles to be solved?

My third question would be about difficulty, but it seems to be quite clear by now that the game is difficult.

Anyway, these three points summarize my disappointment concerning many of the best Zelda Classic quests. Zquest lacks a cutscene editor, so most of a ZC quest's story lies in a text file (there are sneaky ways to make videos and cutscenes, but its very akward and buggy). Zelda Classic also always features the same gameplay. Although some creators have managed to do novel things with the ZC engine, you really can't accomplish any sort of non-repetitive gameplay without a really deep script editor, which Zquest doesn't have. Many ZC quests are also incredibly difficult. I don't know why they have to be so hard, but there are, and a difficult game gets frustrating after awhile, leaving me with no motivation to play it, especially if it has a scarce story and gameplay I've already experienced many times before.

If this ROM edit shows more innovation the the ZC quests, then I might check it out, but I'd like some more information before I begin to play another disappointment.
