Re: Love Waits for No One... But Zorlo (Sakume)

Selene stumbled slightly as she climbed a hill towards home, knowing the door was unlocked, but she always left it unlocked since so few people even neared the place. She had gone to buy some food since she knew little was left. She held the two bags in front of her with great difficulty, but seemed to manage.

The door to the cabin easily swung open once knocked upon, revealing a great portion of woman's touch added to the homely little place. Selene had apparently been knitting and decorating quite a lot, since the windows had a floral curtain pattern about them, and the bed had a cover with a large heart on it. On the bed lay a suitcase, half full of Selene's clothing. Zorlo didn't know this, but she had been planning to return to the Forest of Whispers, where they first met, just to see how things have been going.

She approached closer, and saw the door open, not knowing Zorlo must have gone inside. She gasped softly. Someone must have been trying to break into the cabin. But why? She slowly approached, grabbing a vase from a windowsill after setting the groceries beside the open door. She inched along the wooden wall, holding the vase high so it was ready to knock some sense into the intruder.

Although it had not been too long since she and Zorlo had seen one another, Selene had changed slightly in appearance. Her hair was longer, and more wavy than curly. She had been shopping, and attempted to look more like a human with her tan shorts and white blouse. She rounded the corner, the vase outstretched. Then she saw him.

All the color drained from her face for a moment. "Z..." She dropped the vase, which shattered below. "Zorlo?" She squeaked.
