Rem - the issue here is not a case of "who do you think is an oldie, and therefore more worthy of your respect?" kinda question xD

It's just a matter of classification, and has nothing to do with treatment according to that matter =)
So, by saying I view you as an oldie, I don;t mean to say that because of that, I'll hold you in higher regard to newer members.
In fact, I've had quote a few newbie highlights ..

You're right, a cool person is a cool person regardless. But a cool new person wouldn't have the joint memories that I'd have with oldies - and that's the only difference =)

So, classifying members into "forum age/status" doesn't mean anything with regards to respect status :p
At least in my book.
