The problem is, it may not be enough. Third parties are greedy, back-stabbing jerks, they'll ditch you at any moment if they think they can make more money elsewhere. PS3 has not been creating the kind of sales numbers that third parties like, and by the time these killer aps finally come out for it, will guys like Konami, Namco and Capcom be so dedicated to a console that simply is not selling like the competitors? Remember that PS3 is not the only system with a group of big-name games coming out within the year, MGS4, Tekken 6 and FFXIII have to go up against Halo 3, Brawl, Mass Effect, Prime 3, Mario Galaxy, Blue Dragon etc. Right now I think it's safe to say that PS3's future is in the hands of the third parties.
But I don't necessarily see it bombing or anything. I personally see it continuing it get a lot of games, from third parties and all, but very few being exclusive.
