Lurious found himself in an odd room. It was a large desolate plain with a massive volcano in the distance. At the top was a shining object that Lurious could see from the door. He began walking, only because he had nothing else to do.

Why am I doing this? It’s only a speck of light, a worthless little light. Nevertheless, he continued walking. As he walked, his thoughts began to wander. That little man Tokumaru, does he really think that he can teach me anything? Probably not. What are the lessons like here anyway? I’ve been here a while and haven’t received any lessons.

Lurious noticed a sizzling sound coming from beneath him. He looked down to see that the intense heat of the ground was cooking his shoes. Well that’s just perfect. Now my feet will be burned unless I get out of here soon. What the hell is that thing on the volcano anyway? Why is it so interesting that I have to waste all of my time on it? It’s probably just a fairy that got trapped up there. Well I came all this way, I guess I should just go see.

Lurious had reached the halfway mark to the volcano. Each step caused his shoes to melt a little more. I’d better hurry. If this keeps up, my feet will melt. Dead shrubs lined the path in unorganized clusters and some of them had been burned to the roots. This room is dangerous; I shouldn’t have come in. How does a room this big fit into the Dome? It has to be many times larger than that ‘warriors’ school.’ It’s not magic; if it was, it wouldn’t be as real as this. Then what is it? I don’t really know. Lurious continued his mental argument as he neared the volcano. The ground had become soft, like mud, but much hotter.

The ground has become even more dangerous. Now I’m sure this was a stupid idea. I’ll probably get a fatal injury and die here. Heh, like that’s possible. How high is the volcano anyway? It looks like it’s over two hundred feet high. The ground became even muddier and hotter as the smoke of the volcano became visible. The volcano had many cracks where hot air had escaped. A small secondary hole had become visible now that Lurious was closer to it.

Well this is it, he thought to himself as he reached the base of the molten mountain.
