[Safer] Lurious's Training

Lurious, demon god and the feared Grim Reaper, was lost. He pulled a map out of his long, black cloak. “After the mountains head north,” he said to himself. The map would get him within a hundred miles of the fabled Dome. After that, it just ended. The Dome was the only place that had training advanced enough for Lurious. He had tried to go before, but he was robbed and had to go back or risk starvation.

Now, he was much more prepared for the long trip ahead. He realized that he had already gone past the mountains, but was too far to the east to see them. This meant that he was already within the one hundred mile range. A desert was spread out in front of him. Sand was beginning to crunch underfoot.

He kept walking until the all of the ground he walked on was the grainy mineral. It was at this time he began to wonder about the Dome. What would it be like? Who would his teacher be? When would his lessons start? These questions buzzed in his head like angry wasps. He had never been around people that he could have a real fight with before. Mostly, they were weak little scum that had been able to buy a sword. Many of them ran as soon as he drew his blade. He also needed help with his magical abilities. They were… rusty. The Dome would be the first place that those skills could be truly developed.

He was so lost in thought that he didn’t notice that the sand was getting deeper. By the time he did notice, he was chest deep in it. “Damn!” He exclaimed with despair. He began to struggle, but it just made things worse. The sand swallowed him up like a hungry lion.

He finally managed to break to the surface after about an hour or so. He sat on the ground, coughing up sand. In a few minutes he had recovered from the experience and looked up. About thirty feet away was a massive coliseum. From the massive gold roof, to the shining white of the body, the entire thing was beautiful. This was the Dome. He ran to the massive oak gates as fast as he could. He reached the Dome and looked up.
“And so it begins,” he said to himself.

OoC: Well I hope you like it!
