I hated it, but this really is a "love it or hate it" type of game. There is no inbetween.

My reason for disliking it was because it was basically like playing Metroid Prime 1 all over again (which is a game I love), but a lot of the elements that I loved were taken out in Prime 2. For example, Prime 2 was far more linear, the environments were less unique and beautiful, the music was meh, and the gameplay was ruined, in my opinion, thanks to the annoying dark world sections. I was also annoyed with being limited on ammo.

Like I said, I do love the first Metroid Prime!
