Onigami -- n; the original name for Oni Link, or the "Fierce Deity"

Hello, and welcome to the Onigami. I am new to the "Fiction" forum, but I think I'll kick it off well. I haven't got much to say...so yeah...

Prologue

"Dear mother,
how are you? I've recently returned to Hyrule to finish what I've started. Here's a small story I want you to read:

'The Onigami was a demon trapped inside of a mask hidden away for many years. The mask's origins are unknown, but the power is legendary. It had only been worn twice. The first time was by Maxamillion Grough, a small man who ran a mask shop in Hyrule Town. He had stolen it from its original home, and wore it as a test. The power overcame him, but he managed to rip the mask off. He noticed that the demonic aura that had once surrounded it had vanished.

He swiftly realized that this was the effects of the mask. The Onigami was trapped inside of him. After much research, he concluded that only the Fierce Deity's brother mask could repent the demon and return it to its shell: Majora's Mask. It was created in an imp village in Termina, Hyrule's neighboring country. After snatching it, he sealed the demon away and tossed the mask into Lake Hylia. The rest of the story is unknown, but it is said that a boy of the Skull Kid race found it.

Maxamillian, satisfied, set off on a new quest until Majora's Mask was stolen from him. In despair, he asked the Hero of Time to help him. After a long and heart-wrenching qest, the Hero found himself with the Fierce Deity mask. He was battling Majora's Mas; the demon inside of it was attempting to destroy Termina. Despite all warnings, he placed the mask on his face. The Hero transformed into a large man weilding an odd sword. His magic ability was almost unmatched. He destroyed Majora's Mask and took of the Fierce Deity mask. He didn't even notice he was hosting a beast. Nor did he know he destroyed the only cure.

The Hero held onto the mask, and departed to Hyrule once more. There, he began acting odd. He went into a coma for two years. At age thirteen, he awoke. His memory was wiped out, and replaced with a false past. He believed that he was raised as a Hylian, and grew up with a loving mother and father. Nobody could seem to get his memory to return, so he ran away, still not knowing of the Onigami trapped within.' Wow, that's an awesome story!" I said, resiting was the neat black words on the flat piece of paper. It was a new addition to The Onigami, retelling recent events.

I had read the book before, but this was a new special addition, including more legends and theories. It was a collection of ideas, thoughts, and theories about the Onigami. I had recently "moved to Hyrule" for research, or that's what I claimed; they believed I had never been t Hyrule before.. I stayed at the Lon Lon Ranch with permisson of Malon. I had a little crush on her. To them, I was Zachary Himora from a distant land who had never visited Hyrule...that was my story...
