I really can't read Japanese but from what I could translate from this it looks like you guys are right. Since the statement is made that TP is around one hundred years after MM (thats funny I thought they said a few decades...) and there would be no reason for him to have stated child link's future if adult Link's wasn't different then the childs. What's really funny is back in the days when I was a split-timeline theorist I made a statement about something that was said earlier by one of the programmers and it was dismissed... I will try and find the interveiw later.

oh yeah and about the triforce not being complete. Last I checked it is never really elaborated on exactly what happens to the ToP, but then again I could be wrong.
