this may have been discussed before, and i may be terribly wrong in some places(there is at least one where I think i may be), but this is just something i noticed.

up until now, i have always placed, and seen placed, ALTTP on the child side of the split timeline, but after playing throught the game again, but really paying attention to the story etc., i have found that it would be impossible to place ALTTP on the child side of the timeline. Firstly, in the prologue of the game, it tells the story of ocarina (this is supported by nintendo when they said that OoT was the backstory, if i have the meaning of the word correct(i found the quote in a magazine, and can't remember what issue it was in), to ALTTP), that a portal to the sacred realm was found, and opened, but evil started to issue forth from the portal. the king ordered seven sages to seal the portal, however, if it was placed on the childs side of the timeline, the opening never happened, never mind the sealing of it again.

Alos, in most of my timelines, i have ALTTP linked to FSA (i have not played FS, and not completed FSA, this is mostly based on information i have found from research on the internet.), because of Ganon's return at the end of FSA(as before, i have not completed it, and this may not be possible, because the way i'm interpreting ALTTP, at the start ganon hasn't broken ut of the sacred realm yet). if FSA isn't tied to ALTTP, ALTTP could be the breaking out of ganon in the prologue of WW, somebody please help either support this theory with more evidence, or prove me wrong(the latter would be more desirable).
