There also isn't any evidence showing that Zelda DIDN'T murder people.
But we assume she didn't because she is a kind and honorable Princess.
Why is she honorable and kind you may ask?
She always has hope for her people
She would sacrifice herself instead of having them all slaughtered like lambs.
Now why would such a kind and honorable Princess take the form of someone that wasn't always kind and honorable in Ocarina of Time? Impa, Impaz and Zelda in disguise are all honorable shiekah fighting for the side of good against that of evil.
Impa - helped the hero of time.
Impaz - helped the chosen hero and guarded Kakriko until the messenger arrived.
Zelda - has helped nearly every hero.
To assume otherwise would be quite preposterous. Preposterous indeed.
