Indeed I know I only run the bombers and do not really even plan to participate in it but I thought I would entertain all of you with a Notebook of my own for various things that I am thinking about for The Bombers and such. It will also be a place where I'll put the misc. things that The Bombers have done.
About Me
I first joined ZU quite a few years ago in 2002 as Gophilm when ZU had just a wee little baby of a forum. In fact, I do not believe it was even it's own forum and was part of another site's forum. I wasn't particularly active back then only posting every once in a while whenever something caught my attention. I also tried to make a Zelda site at that time but I didn't know as much about making a site back then to get very far.
I got up to maybe 500 posts when I left and became more active on a The Sims forum where I had an obsession with making Frank Lloyd Wright houses in The Sims. That lasted for a very long time but I remember coming back to ZU right before ZU's server crashed and couldn't remember Gophilm's Password or the e-mail that it was attatched to. So, I made a new name -- Leminnes -- which has stuck with me to this day.
After getting up to 40 posts or so I stopped being active again. While I was gone ZU crashed and it deleted Gophilm entirely and deleted all 40 of my posts as Leminnes.
Throughout this time I had been taking computer graphic classes at my city's local museum. This got me a very large head start on computer graphics and in 8th grade I signed up for my Middle School's TV crew where I was the head graphics monkey and got even better there (although I'm afraid to ever go back there and look at any of the stuff I made. I doubt it would be any good to my current standards.)
Sometime in early 2005 is when I officially became active on ZU. I honestly can't remember when but I do remember that my first post was in the Nayru Clan Forum trying to make a Graphics Shop. A lot had changed since the last time I was on so I was not aware of the Signature section of the site so I had a lot of people do two things: 1. Freak out about me only having 40 posts and able to be in the forum and 2. Freak out that I posted a signature shop in the wrong forum. Nothing much has changed about ZU, people still freak out about little things.
From then on everything is history. I became friends with Jason, GoldenChaos, who suggested me as a Forum Mod for the GCC section and soon after that I became the section mod for the whole Community Section and not too long after that I became an S-mod.
As of late, I have been doing a lot of community projects in order to get the community involved a bit more with ZU in general. The main one being The Bombers. I definately believe that ZU should be a more community oriented site mostly because of the size of the forums which should definately be capitalized on. With time, I hope for ZU to be completely redone by the members of it which is a pretty neat concept to me: a site made by its members. The staff will still run it, but you guys will fund it.

MDK - The Skull Kid's Identity - Wonderfully written, beautifully thought out, fantasticly interesting article about the correlation of The Happy Mask Salesman and The Skull Kid.
LexLionHart - Hyrulian Hotspots: The Temple of Time - Although Lex is very confident about the writing in this article, he will always admit that the theory itself is crap. I'm not going to say it is or not but it is amazingly written and a fun read. It definately is a good addition to the front page.
Bombers' Projects
Rewriting The Front Page - All of you are wonderous writers and I trust you guys with the front page so I decided to do this project. Hopefully within the next year the whole front page will be a new endless treasure of information about each game.
I do have other Ideas for Projects but I'm going to keep them to myself for now.

April 22, 2007 - Quite a few things has happened in the past two weeks in the Bombers. First of all, it was formed, of course. And I have to add, I am greatly pleased with the activity in it. I was a bit worried that with only 10 people that we would not have enough conversation going on to keep it going but it seems that you guys are keeping up to the challenge.
Second, I started the new Bombers project to rewrite the whole front page. If any of you guys have been in some of the games areas it is quite obvious how badly written many things are. ZU somewhat lacks front page writers so I decided that it would be best to use the writers at our desposal: you guys. You are all fantastic writers in your own right and I definately trust all of you to do well in rewriting the front page.
Third, I plan on making a Bombers' Newsletter giving the activity that had gone on the week of the newsletter. Things like a new article posted, a new or finished discussion, interesting blogs in someone's notebooks, and any other Bombers' Projects. I also plan on another contest very soon which I hope you guys will enjoy and I am going to make a "Article and Discussion Thread" where you guys can discuss your favorite articles and discussions currently posted. I do believe that is all for now. Check back later for any new blogs.
