It certainly is Uncle! as alot of Gohma's have fire(ball)-breathing abilities, it is only natural that it should evolve at one point. Although it is more of a fire-like energy(how can fire come from the eyes?). so Armogohma's laser is a chain in the evolution of Gohma's fire-breathing abilities. As the laser is a long holding beam. at some point it devolved to a mere fire ball, however the possibilty stands that the next zelda has a gohma also with a laser. Phantom Hourglass, will probably feature another Centipede Gohma.
