Good article, however I see a little hole. You say that Skull kid is the imp in the story about the four giants. If so the Skull kid must be quite old. Later on, you propose that the Happy mask Salesman and Skullkid may be eachothers counterparts and here is the hole: As according to the story Skull Kid is very old(a few hundred to maybe thousand years, I guess) so shouldn't the Happy Mask Salesman be just as old?
