Re: The Fate of a Princess (Zorolo, Sakume and Puck)
“Crude…”Aegis said inaudibly. “The trees…’ He groaned forcing himself to his feet, “Are lighter here,” Closing his eyes he pointed his face to the strange sunlight, and leapt into the air, his wings catching the strong wind granting him flight. He hovered high above the tree tops he once laid beneath, searching the vast landscape for any sign life.
“Am I but a sunken rock, do no feet tread these lands,” Blasting forward at an incredible speed he still found nothing in the strange land, flying higher he hoped to find some sign of life in the barren landscape, and to hid luck he spotted what looked to be several towns in the distance, shrugging his shoulder the metal man figured it was better then nothing, and dove towards that spot on the distant horizon.
About an hour he was walking through the small town, his right arm had returned to its usual metallic state. He had stopped in a clearing in the forest, and after returning his arm to normal took foot the rest of the way, deciding it was better then to attract more attention then needed in this strange place. He saw the peoples faces, as he trudged along the small town, all but about two looked depressed, and saddened beyond belief, as if the same suffering was placed on all, and not just one. Though as all humans do, he wanted to help them, but figured it was not his place to do such, so instead he just walked, eventually finding himself in a bar.
It was one of those dank depressing bars you always here about, where grown men go to mope about there problems, even though no one is ever really listing. Inside he saw, well little, most had turned to look when the large man entered the room, but then turned back to their disease, feeling that if they where to die, then it would only satisfy their desire. A sad state of affair really, but not one unlike he had ever seen.
“The fly purposely into the spiders web, have they no sense,” he mumbled to himself before taking a seat at the front bar.
“Whaddayawant,” The short chunky bartender said, his bald head gleaming in the dim light.
“Anything to take me out of these affairs,”
“Uhh, whatever,” the bartender mused, pouring the large half metal man a glass of questions brown substance. Sniffing it questionably, he took a sip, and held the desirable urge to gag, as the bartender looked on a strange look on his face.
“So mac, whats wit dat arm o’yurs?”
“Crude…”Aegis said inaudibly.
“it really made o’tat metal stuff,”
“Yes,” Aegis gruffly said pushing a long metal braid out of his face before finishing, “The ant should not ask the rodent of his business,”
“What’ar’yur talkin bout mac,” The obviously stupid bartender could not seem to grasp the analogy.
“I mean, I don’t feel like talking about it,” Aegis said coldly, causing aggravation in the nameless bartender.
“Hey there, no need to be actin like that, we don’t take kindly to mean folks round here,”
“Then my presence here will cause an uproar by your class of citizens here, I must be on my way,” Standing to his feet Aegis turned to walk away, and clear his head, it just wasn’t his day. But, of course that could not be had, as the nameless fat bartender grabbed Aegis by his metal shoulder. Big mistake.
Before the bartender could register what happened he was standing with his hands up looking towards the dangerous blade arm of the half metal man. Sweating profusely the bald man started stuttering wildly about not killing him, or calming down mac. Without a hint of a smile the half metal man spoke strongly, and slowly, “If you get to close to the sun you are going to get burnt,” Aegis’s arm did not waver, and his eyes failed to notice a man get up from his seat.
“You are no sun Aegis Irona,”
“Huh?” that voice, so familiar, he knew he had heard it before, turning around he looked upon a green haired man, and at last a smile crossed the metal mans face, "Zorlo, what is it you are in a place like this?”
OoC: Feh it will do.
Sorry pour la wait, as well.
