I think you have that wrong. The game called out to a majority of gamers that don't need challenges as much, called casual gamers. I'm not saying that I'm a casual gamer, but I think this game was made for both hard core and casual gamers. As video games are more mainstream these days, I'm sure that casual gamers far outnumber hard core gamers.
