Name: Ciaran Alton (Ce-ree-an, All ton)
Age: 249 years old, about 28 in 'human'
Race: Locturis; These are beings of the Maelstrom Realm, a world between heaven and hell, yet not on Earth. The Locturis are guardians and angels and demons, they keep the peace between the two. These beings are wicked demons or angelic saints, bred together to symbolize unity. They have human like features, but also are granted inhuman abilities, no physical differences however.
Sex: Male
Hair: A raven black hair, not long, clean cut and spiked.
Eyes: Gray, pale eyes.
Weight: 176 lbs
Height: 5' 11"
Weapon: Maelstrom. The Maelstrom Staff is the cornerstone of Ciaran's 'different' abilities. It is a long staff, three inches shorter than Ciaran. It is crafted of pure and refined silver and obsidian with a sapphire at both ends. The staff can also split into two identical swords with the same design and equal silver blades.
Armor: The Maelstrom forms a gauntlet around Ciaran's right wrist and to the elbow whenever danger is not near, but the gauntlet will unfold into the staff whenever Ciaran commands or when danger strikes.
His other armor consists of a chest plate with matching style and design of the staff. That piece has two shoulder covers and a 'V' from the shoulders, exposing the neck, to the chest. The chest piece reaches the waist and two chain mail greaves connect the chest to the leg pieces which move loosely on Ciaran's thighs. This piece has the same design as the others.
Then there are the boots which also have the same design, silver, sleek, and sapphire.
Finally is the blue and silver cloak that goes over his armor, has a hood, long sleeves to hid his gauntlet staff, and reaches his ankles.
Strengths: The Locturis are better than an average human, they are tall at early ages, physically and mentally strong, have the ability to fly, control the fate of sinning humans, and can ascend to any realm they desire. These beings cannot be killed by time's corrosion and are not afraid of death since they come from the Maelstrom.
Ciaran's staff will return to his hand if lost and it and his armor are extremely durable, resistant to flames and darkness, since it is designed to stave off the powers of hell. The staff and the concealed twin swords are unbreakable, especially carrying the magical powers. The weapon is also a sort of alarm, it morphs into the staff from the gauntlet when an attacker draws near or if Ciaran concentrates. Ciaran is very skilled in close range combat as well.
Weakness: Ciaran was exiled and lost his greatest abilities such as flight, controlling sinners, and transporting to realms. He cannot lose his staff, but he can lose control of it when he is executing a powerful spell or attack. It is not exactly Ciaran's so he does lose control of it, his best friend, the Prince of the Locturis is the owner's son and can communicate to Ciaran through it, which drives Ciaran crazy sometimes. His armor is built for speed and although it protects against most elemental attacks, strong and heavy, blunt blows will send Ciaran flying.
Skills/Magic: His staff is Ciaran's only means of attack and defense beside his armor and natural Locturis abilities. When in gauntlet form and no danger is near it can use these abilities:
Seize: Seize can use a sort of telekinesis to push, pull, bring, throw objects for long distances. It can be used as an attack if the target isn't an actual threat.
Calming Grasp: This ability soothes the mind of a suspected opponent, and leaves them unconscious for a few minutes, but if they are proven a threat, this defensive power is not available in the staff form.
Summoning Command: This power summons an illusion of himself to use as a distraction when the staff is out of control and it reverts to the gauntlet. The illusion will stay and delay the pursuer unless it is attacked, then the illusion fades away.
Staff powers: These are what the staff can do when Ciaran morphs it himself or when someone is about to attack.
Aerial Typhoon: Since Ciaran is stripped of his regular power of endless flight, he can use his staff to change the current of the wind and an updraft can allow him to levitate high into the air and hover for a decent period of time.
Divine Chaos Blast: A dark blue bolt of energy shoots from the staff and burns the opponent. Several blasts can be fired and it can be shot as a beam for a matter of seconds, capable of piercing regular armor.
Divine Chaos Aura: A barrier that surrounds Ciaran and wards off physical attacks, but will be disrupted by other arcane attacks. He can also use a reverse barrier, blocking magic attacks, but it is disrupted by physical melee attacks.
Lord's Blessing/Demon's Curse: A spell that comes from the staff, healing any wound by takes a few minutes to charge. The Demon's Curse can be used instantly, but needs to recharge by absorbing blood from an opponent.
Altering Element: Whatever element the staff touches, can be controlled and used like the first two staff abilities until Ciaran alters them, or they are eliminated.
Demonic Dominance: Ciaran adopts to his half demon, giving in to it's power for a short time. While using this demon form, his pupils turn a blood red and his skins turns to an ashy tone. His strength, speed, and physical means of fighting increase making him impervious to simple weapons. However, this form lasts for a matter of minutes, an hour at most. Magic has a great affect on him and when the form expires, Ciaran will revert to his normal self, severely exhausted.
Angel's Passion: Ciaran lets the angel part tune in and he is basked with a bright glow. His eyes turn a bright golden color and he can levitate for several moments before returning to the ground and his magic attacks are charged, a deep glow doesn't let magic harm him. Unfortunately, his staff is in the gauntlet form doing this and his magic attacks are directed to that. Any close range physical attacks will knock him back, hurting him. After the form, he is severely exhausted.
Hellfire Rise: One of the more powerful attacks, cracks open into the ground and burst of flame emerge. Patterns can be arranged, capturing opponents in a surrounding circle of flames or meeting together and incinerating them.
Heavenly Fury: Divine beams of light shoot from the sky, blasting opponents back, leaving them stunned and blinded by the light.
The last four may cause the staff to lose control of revert to the gauntlet, so Ciaran has to concentrate before casting.

Personality: Ciaran is hardly ever serious and likes to play or fool around whenever possible. He likes to flirt and tries to impress most people around him. In battle, he's still not that serious unless he thinks he's actually going to die. Then he'll get serious until after said battle. Mostly a carefree and nonchalant sort of guy.
Biography: When the Maelstrom was created by the god, Alistophes, he had gathered sacred demons and fallen angels to unite. Their purpose was to guard the gates of Heaven and Hell and they were the messengers and peace-keepers between the two realms.
Ciaran was born and was trained to be a guardian, that watched over angels and demons. Him and his best friend, Marcus, the son of Alistophes, and many enjoyable times training together. Years passed and his mother taught him to watch things that happened in other realms and his father taught him as much as he felt about combat. Unfortunately, without a weapon, Ciaran never could impress his father.
Many years later, an angel of heaven escaped the void between the two realms and fell into Maelstrom. This angel was seeking more power to take command of heaven itself and stole the staff of Alistophes for complete control of the Maelstrom. This was Ciaran's first mission, banish the being to hell and retrieve the staff.
Ciaran departed and found the fallen angel, trying to smash open the gates of Heaven. Ciaran grabbed the staff, and the two struggled for its possession. They fell from Heaven and Ciaran opened a portal to Hell, which they both fell through. Suddenly, a bloodlust and incredible power filled the other fallen angel and he started to steal some of the powers of the staff. The staff overwhelmed him with power and he flew back, farther into the reaches of hell. Engorged with power, it morphed into a demon and killed the previous leader, crowning himself the new king.
Ciaran retreated back to the Maelstrom. Antipholes was enraged that some of the godly powers were stolen and now a fallen angel had succeeded in taking over one realm entirely. The balance was gone and a war broke out between Heaven and Hell. After years of divine clashing, the powers of good and light triumphed and sealed off Hell. No one could leave, not an angel, demon, or Locturis.
All this was Ciaran's fault, he was stripped of his powers and banished not to Hell, or ascended to Heaven, but placed on Earth as his punishment. Antipholes cared not for his staff and sent it there as well, a token of how much Ciaran was despised. Luckily for Ciaran, Marcus learned how to communicate to beings on Earth, through Ciaran's staff. He could see from the large sapphire on the palm or back of the hand when danger is not near. When Marcus sees a being with cruel intent, he activates the staff and can see through the sapphires at both ends. He will protect his fallen friend until the elders forgive his actions.
Ciaran however, looks on the bright side, he doesn't want to return to his disappointed father and praise an angry deity anymore. He decided to stay on Earth and live there in peace, forever.
