.flv to .avi OK, this is (hopefully) not too bad a problem, but I've grown tired of trying to find a solution, so maybe someone here can give me some advice.
A sibling of mine has decided that she wants to do some video editing using Windows Movie Maker. So, she's trying to find a way to download videos from YouTube to use for video editing.
Now, there are ways to download the .flv files, but WMM can't read those. I did find an online site that converts online .flv files to .avi and then puts them up for download. However, it uses DivX, which isn't playing nice with WMM.
So, anyone here have any free programs/websites/etc. that would actually allow this to work?
