I hate it when my emotions are so overwhelming that I must speak them. Today I was beaten up by my friends and random people. I was told that I wasn't a man if I couldn't BEAT UP A BARAGE OF PEOPLE, RAMING ME INTO A CORNER. I pleaded for them to stop. I even screamed for help for teacers but they think "Oh look at Spike getting his butt whooped by his friend, so cute." Anyone is this natural! I was told to not be mad because thats what friends do. Well I think *explitive deleted* *explitive deleted* *explitive deleted* he is dead to me! I want to know have your "friends" ever done this?

Re: Has This Happened To You Men?
Well Spike123 (I'm assuming you're a boy), a similiar thing happened to me about a year ago.
These boys (real pain in the ass) were poking me at the back of my neck with something... pointy, whilst insulting me. I don't think they excpected me to do anything about it, and I guess I didn't either. I mean, I was in the middle of French class, and these guys were pretty popular, thinking they could get away with it. Well anyway, halfway through French, anger got the better of me. I stood up, and jusdt swung my fist behing me hoping it would hit someone. I did. The whole class seemed to freeze, and I wanted anything to un-freeze it... so I punched him again. Well, they were the ones who got in trouble as a form of 'bullying'. I don't think the teachers even knew I had punched him, so I got away pretty easy. Afterwards though, everyone had heared, and I had turned out pretty good. In fact, I heard someone talk about it today. 'Remember when he got a swing at Allan?' asked Shaun. 'Oh yeah,' said Stuart AKA Cuppy, 'That was pure ace.' So, life went on. THey never really messed with me again! Hehe...

Re: Has This Happened To You Men?
guys dont take the ********
what you really wanna do, which'll scare the ******** outta everyone, is say for u Saderox, next time they poke you in the back of the neck in class, stand up and turn around and crack em him so fast in the face that the whole class is in shock and then stand there over the top of him glance over at the teacher and be like "he was annoying me" if the teacher hasnt already goten over there to stop you two, you'll get in trouble, probably withyour parents too, but kids should take you alittle more seriously then, then if the kid does it again, you do it again, and this time hit him more, maybe even try to kick the crap out of him, even if you'd lose, everyone will know now you'll fight back, cause NOONE wants to get hurt.. (I like paint but that is a different story I cant explain) |

Re: Has This Happened To You Men?
I haven't had this happen to me, though I have got in fights before. I'd suggest either getting new friends, or kicking the crap out of them one by one.
A similar thing happened to me, Saderox (haven't seen you on in awhile). It was during English in Grade 8 (two years ago), and some (very) annoying kid (who everyone hates - he has no friends) was throwing pieces of pastels that he had found at me. I took it. When I was leaving class at the end of the period, however, he tapped me on the shoulder. I turned, and he tossed a pastel right between my eyes. It didn't hurt in the least, but it got me past that point of no return. I punched him square in the nose, hard, and he fell back through two desks onto the floor. I jumped over them, and started kicking at the dumba...kid, for a few seconds until a bunch of people dragged me back. After that he stopped being such an idiot - at least to me. He was at my new school last year, but he ended up leaving, mostly due to his lack of friends and/or inability to not laugh at everything. I mean, once, an old man asked me to help him walk across the street (he had parkinson's or something) to a restauraunt. I complied, of course, and about halfway through crossing, the kid came by and started laughing. My friend, who was with me at the time threatened to punch him. He ran, of course, giggling like a little schoolgirl. Vain freaks. |

Re: Has This Happened To You Men?
Quite honestly, your friends need something better to do with their time. Maybe janitorial work of some kind... The idea that you have to get beaten up to be a man is ridiculous. Anyone who has the gall to beat up on someone younger/smaller and with advantage of numbers needs to get a serious hold of themselves.
Afaic, there is one way to deal with bullies: show them you aren't afraid. While bullies feed off of fear, they are just as vulnerable to it as you are. I have never had a lack of confidence, or ability to go toe to toe with someone (although I am not large). I think its a good idea to project confidence, it may not seem that special to you, but other people can tell if you are confident. I think my mind and body have been sharpened by Judo, and quite honestly, just on principle alone I would defend myself if someone hit me. The idea of having pride in yourself as a human compells me to stand up for the proper dignity I deserve as a human. Its a shame its so hard to do that for others, but hey, i'm learning.

Re: Has This Happened To You Men?
I have never, ever truely been in a fight, since I'm a rather non-violent person. Nor have I ever been 'beaten up.'
I'd have to say that friends who do that aren't friends at all, as several people have already said. I tend to avoid people like that, if at all possible. If it is not possible, then I either intimidate them into not wanting to do anything, or psyching them out, which isn't all that complicated. I openly view threats with disdane and mild amusement. It really confuses people like that... |

Re: Has This Happened To You Men?
I threw my only childhood bully into a icy cold, muddy gutter. He never so much as glanced at me again.
I believe that turning the other cheek and using peaceful words to stop a bully doesn't work. The teachings of Gandhi and Martin Luther King Jr work great in other conflicts., but it's different with school-aged bullies. The idea to ignore your bully until they get bored with you sounds great, but has that ever really worked with anyone? It makes appear even more weak and vulnerable, which intensifies the bullying. Telling a teacher will anger the bully or cause the bullying to take place outside of school grounds where you can't be protected, which will makes things much worse. As others have mentioned, fight back. However, if you try to confront your bullies and end up getting spanked by them again, it will only make your problems worse. Wait out for a good opportunity to confront them, a time where you're confident that you can succeed at whooping their asses. And make sure you REALLY hurt them, just throwing a rock and then running away won't do much. Leave them traumatized. Fight dirty and be cruel. Jab their eyes out, scrape their faces over concrete, dump a can of garbage over them, take their shoes and throw them up in a tree or on a powerline, rip up their notebooks and homework and scatter them in the road. Don't stop your rampage until they start crying. ![]() Last edited by Blutkind; 01-07-2004 at 06:04 AM.. |

Re: Has This Happened To You Men?
The thing is, dont like be ruthless, or what better are you than them?
I mean, heck, sure they deserve it, but then YOU become the bully. I stick with self-defense, I mean I had this guy jump me and I threw him on the ground a few times, and roughed him up, (threw his book bag in the street...) but didnt really "hurt" him. Get a bunch of REAL friends to watch your back, if they jump you again, run to them and then whip out teh awesomness of a fight. Heh, alls fair in love and war right? But what about 'honor among thieves'. Jumping THEM would start like a gang war, and thats like crap (o_o);;

Re: Has This Happened To You Men?
The thing is as much as I would like to smack them senseless for the last 3 months. I told him some stuff I will never go into and he can bribe me to tell everyone which would ruin my reputation. My real friends other than that other jerk go to that school. I would be so humiliated I'd have to go to south middle school.
Another thing is ever since I was eight (I'm an insomniac) I had to take meds that make me unbalanced. It added fifty lbs in 2 weeks and day by day it's harder to breath, I offically lost the sense of smell, and I can't get off it until this summer for school reasons. I'm told I have to be "weened" off it or I'll have real horrible body side-effects. If you were wondering I would've killed myself right when I was 7. To bad I have too much will-power now. A sad story but I still try to find my calling. |

Re: Has This Happened To You Men?
Spike123:
Your so-called friend was a coward for attacking you in a group. I say this was an act of hatred against you. Furthermore, I believe this violently rash so-called friend of yours, should have at least tried to talk to you to try to resolve any issues. I know this is difficult but try to let this whole scenario leave you but talk to your principal or the police about what happened to you. Try to bring in witnesses. So, your so-called friend and his gang would be suspended from school. Either way, talk to the police so they can keep an eye on those guys. I'm sorry that had to happen to you. I've been through similar scenarios. I learned Goshin Jutsu Karate-Do to defend myself. I suggest you study a martial art of some kind. Added Message: Also, if your teachers stood by and watched you getting beaten, they have no morals or ethics and they will be in big trouble for not trying to stop the assault on you. Tell that to the police. Be sure to give them your teachers names also.
