As we see in the ending sequence, Fado is in the ranch next to the Zora King and Saria is with the other sages on death mountain. Yes i'm sure Saria doesn't count because she is a sage but what about Fado?
This was a myth made by the deku-tree to keep the kokiri safe within the forest.

I wasn't talking about them becoming monsters when they leave the forest, I was talking about them becoming monsters when being lost in the woods.
