Legend of Zelda... As a book?

Just out of curiousity (sp?), I was wondering how Zelda fans would react to the idea of making LoZ into a book series... personally I think it would be interesting. Mre character development, more ideas/evidence for timeline theors ect ect...

Movie, book, its all great sounding stuff to me! The pure essence of the game is perfect for any platform in my eyes. I'm glad to see others also think this as well. However Nintendo would never sell the rights to someone to publish it into a book or movie. Well..... no, because there was a movie for Mario Brothers, so i guess anything is possible.

Oh geez. Did you ever see the Mario Brothers movie? It was like Uwe Boll directed it. It was placed in NY with clubs and stuff. I seriously don't know why it was made.

It was... alright for its time. I hated the actor they chose to play Luigi. He is the one that ruined the flavor of the movie to me. Everything else was alright and there could have been sequal hits, but no, they just couldn't cut it with the actor playing Luigi I'm afraid.

The manga versions of Zelda are pretty good. I wouldn't mind one of TP. But he means like a novel.

thats what i said, less pics and more reading (the devil may cry novel had pics in it)

Still, Nintendo wouldn't do it. Mario is really their "flesh-out" franchise.

yes the games and the mangas thats seems to be it for LOZ, but i think a nove lwould be pretty cool, hopefully it would be great depth in its storyline and characters, and all that good stuff

yeah a book of zelda would be cool but might spoil things.

Well, there's a Zelda MANGA...
But on the other hand, "Friday the 13th" and "Halo" and "Gears of War" have their own books now, but I think...yeah, just leave Zelda the way it is.
Edit= I mean, think of Link's lines in it...

To me, a Zelda book would be like, Divine Intervention. <3

I would read it.

The Zelda games could easily become a novel. It would actualy give more info on all sorts of things that would never come up in a game.

I would love the idea. It could posibaly reveal a timeline. But I remember reading a chose your own adventure OoA book. But a novel or two would rock.
