Thuderslf, those castle sewer ghosts ARE in the game. They can be found at the Spoiler (Highlight to read):
9th and final Temple, Hyrule Castle. Their actually featured in a couple of rooms...mainly pointing you in the right direction as wolf link when you use his senses.
