Cio: New AND Improved

Yesh, the title makes no sense... Especially when if it is improved it obviously can't be new... Still, I only have a couple things to show, seeing as I can't scan anything new with this computer. Newest to oldest. More will come eventually. :3



This is the cover to my sketching book. I was really bored. XD Oh, and the shading got screwed up when I scanned it.



This is Fish's character, Pentlo... Rough draft.



I was bored so I redrew my character, Gloria. Old pic, but meh.

Comments are welcome, but you get a penguin for telling me for how I can improve. :O

You are still the awesomest at drawing penguins. Fish must be ecstatic. :3

And noticing in your last pic, her lower body doesn't seem to match with her upper. Once you're done, look over your picture and see if what you've drawn is proportional and stuff. That helps me.

Yay! Some new pictures of yours. It's nice to see that you still have kept on with drawing, I'm very glad you are. You're good, and seems like you take comments and critisizm very well.

You did good at making the wings on the last one look folded at the ends, but now try making them a little less stiff, and it'll really make it nice.

Your penguin is adorable! Ha, very cute. Your work makes me smile...and think ... not evil things ...

I can definitely see an improvement.

Hopefully, we can get Iroas' hiney in here, so he can give you some real art advice. (trust me, I'm not good with advice, but I will try XD) And 'sides, he's the expert, not me.

Mm'kay. Now for my advice. I can see you are into drawing eyes. Well, perhaps you might wanna try putting the glare inside the pupil. My art teacher once said that putting a light glare in the pupil is necessary for if you want that eye to look alive. Because when people die, that glare goes away. The eye is no longer reflective, and it won't have that little light reflection anymore.

The penguin is just darling <3

Soo.. no advice on that one. ^^

And for the last one, err... I just don't see how both the wings can be going in the same direction. I mean, they are both curling the same way. (Unless you wanted them like that, then I don't really see anything wrong with it.) Your proportions are getting better... much better. However, there is always room for improvement. Oh, and you might want to make some room to put her feet next time. It kinda leaves you wanting to see them, but they just aren't there.

I can't see Gloria right now, I am on my crappy, old computer >> So that will have to wait til Monday.

But other than that, I am quite impressed! (And jealous XD) You are getting better, and I can't wait to see more of your stuff.
