That's pretty good. The only thing is that it is incredibly similar to Eragon and the Inheritance series. But actually in Eragon Christopher Paolini describes magic using almost the same as how you would use spiritual energy in real life, except without the whole ancient language thing and the way your energy is drained works different, along with the whole setup and... well whatever. So you can use that. Actually your character is close to mine. I haven't got it approved yet, as it has only been a day, but if you go to character approval and look for David Kuridan you can read it. You don't have to, I was just suggesting.
