GWAR

Does anyone here like the band Gwar? Tell me your opinions.

Gwar? Hmm... you got to tell me stuff about this band, because I don't think I've heard about them (there's many bands that I don't know about), but there may be a possibility. I guess they're good.

Gwar? I've heard of them, of course (anyone who has seen Empire Records has), but...no. Don't like them. Their music at least. Their live show is apparently one of the best just because of all the crazy special effects they put on (e.g. spraying the crowd with "blood," ripping heads off of realistic dummies/aliens/animals, and of course, their costumes). But I've only met one person who actually likes Gwar for their music...everyone else just goes to their shows for...well, the show.

Their two most recent albums are good.

I was searching for Joan Rivers clips on YouTube, and I found a video with these guys in it!

They were actually pretty funny, and took Joan's venom with good grace. It seemed like it was pretty old though, judging from her face. I had no idea they were still around.

Float your freaky costumes.

Their latest efforts havent been that bad, though there early stuff is rediculous. I might see them playing with The Red Chord this month.

Believe it or not...I've not heard THAT much of GWAR, but I of course have heard about their insane shows. I honestly wouldn't mind to go to a show, just to experience how crazy it is. XD

They arn't too bad, but the coolest guy in the band is ballsac. Their costumes add to it even more and make it wierder/funner expierience. As far as their music goes, I guess its ok. Not a band band in my opinion.

I went to see them a couple weeks ago, it was amazing.

Nobody goes for the music really, but their new stuff is actually pretty good. And this is coming from a guy who listens to mostly classical music.

The skits are hilarious, and extremely offensive. Remember those Danish cartoons featuring Mohammed with a bomb for a turban? Well, they had that character on stage (complete with sparklers on the top of the bomb), and they ripped his chest off, squirting blood everywhere.

After spending an hour moshing and getting covered in fake blood, semen, and urine, we went to a nice restaurant.

What a way to finish off a day! This is exactly why I want to go to a GWAR concert, because it would just be so fun. XD

I'm going to a GWAR concert on Saturday, and I know it's going to be awesome. You shold all go to youtube and see Beavis and Butt-head's commentary on GWAR, it's funny stuff.

I missed GWAR when they came here, and I never got over it. Penguin Attack for the win.

Thanks to my family I had to miss GWAR. I know that thanksgiving is only once a year and that grandmother comes once a year, but COME ON! I was pretty upset that I missed the concert to wait an hour to be seated at a ****ty restaurant.
