Honest John, you just tell a theory you think its right! You need proofs or arguments that prove that, you have to understand that. "OoT splits into two timelines..." who tells you that? MM continues OoT timeline, but who guarantees you that TP will be a sequel?
And one more thing: the second theory you developed, I dont know how...

TP was the direct sequel to OoT, how? if in OoT Link ends in a child, that later on continues in MM; why is tWW the next sequel after TP?
Supposing you had put MM instead of WW and PH, it wouldn't make sense; since in OoT Link ends up as a child, how could it be and adult in TP, and then a child again in MM? And also; tWW is the sequel of TP, right? At which part of this timeline does MM integrates(MM definatly belongs to OoT timeline)?
