Link is actuall ambidextrious (sorry if it's spelt wrong, i'm just trying to spell it phoneticlly) for those of you that don't know that means he can use either his right of left hand, neither is dominant. My friend pointed this out to me in an old Shiggy' interview. Shigeru Miyamoto is ambidextrious and just prefers his left hand, so they incorperated that into Link since the Zelda series sense of adventure is based on Lil' Shiggy's adventures in the woods of Kyoto when he was a child.
So there you have it, Link is ambedextrious, he just prefers his left hand.

Lol I know, my friend who is a die hard Zelda fan is a lefty. And was still as excited about TP when they made him righty. The games don't have to be on wii. They could be gamecube games so it wouldn't be that big of a problem.
