Minish Cap to OOA/OOS Connection
I've searched high and low in the forums, seeing if I could find someone else who had posted this, but I have ended up empty-handed. Apologies now if this is old news, and close this thread without hesitation if it is.
There are many people who still hold the belief that the Four Swords part of Zelda belongs in its own side-quest of the main series. However, there is this solid connection that ties in Minish Cap with the Oracle games.
In the statue shop, sorry that I am at loss for its name, in Minish Cap has three figurines that are of particular inerest in their descriptions. They go with little explanation:
Nayru - "...She is descended from a line of oracles in the land of Labrynna."
Din - "...She is a famous dancer from the land of Holodrum."
Well, if that doesn't convince you that Nayru and Din (and probably Farore) are the same exact people from the Oracle games as Minish, I don't know what to say.
What order would these games go, timeline speaking? This is where the third fingurine comes in handy.
Syrup - "A wizard who lives in the Minish Woods, she sells magic items with odd powers. She's looking for an apprentice to whom she can teach her mystic spells."
Obviously, she hasn't found her apprentice yet, but by the time of the Orcales, she's finally adopted Maple as that apprentice. This would support the fact that Minish Cap comes before OOA/OOS choronologically.
Hope this is in fact something new and of interest.
