Re: Character List

Approved by the wonderfully egotistical Power Shot! =D

~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~

Name: Andrew

Age: 20

Race: Demon

Sex: Male

Hair: Longish, shiny, dark brown hair that does conceal his identity and such

Eyes: A light brown and almost yellow color

Weight: 165 pounds of pure muscle, or so he likes to claim.

Height: 6’3”

Weapon: A long katana he keeps at his side which he’s made such a strong bond with that it controls and accentuates his magic and abilities. His sister bestowed it upon him moments before she took her last breath. It means a lot to him. His sword is shown in his appearance.

He also has this knife he acquired at the bottom of a river near his house while saving a demon girl named Celia. He’s kept it as more of a good luck charm than a weapon.

Armor:
He does not use armor, for he feels it limits his strength. He also thinks thing such as defense are trivial if you are strong enough. He believes himself to be strong enough which is why he thinks armor is pointless in his case.

Strengths: He loves to wield a sword with confidence and elegance. His love for his blade makes him yearn and love fights. This assists him by boosting his already high confidence level.

He is a great swordsman and fighter. He tossed away his magical abilities and defense in exchange for raw power.

He has a deep bond with his sword, it almost calls to him. If it is ever stolen, he can sense it immediately.

While he is not very fast, he can think quickly. Though he may not always be right, he comes to conclusions before he can be attacked. Not that this always helps him…

Weakness: He’s always coming to rash conclusions and feels that the term, “Attack first, ask questions later” suits him rather well.

He does poorly when it comes to speed and magic. Even though he does know a couple of spells, they are very mediocre and rudimentary.

Andrew’s mind thinks like that of a two year old due to pure laziness. Meaning he can easily calculate things incorrectly.

He depends too greatly on his weapon. When it is taken, he panics and makes even stupider decisions than normal.

Women are a weakness for him. If he sees a pretty girl, he can’t help but go talk to her, even if she happens to want to kill him.

Skills/Magic: His abilities cannot be used without his sword in hand or at least in mind.

Flawed Swing: It’s a move where he swings half way and abruptly stops to confuse his opponent, but it is in fact an illusion and the real blade swings through, hopefully to catch the receiver of this attack by surprise. It is flawed due to the fact, he creates the illusion and forgets to swing in with his blade, but that just comes along with Andrew’s forgetful nature.

Erasing Stroke: This is an odd attack. So much so, that Andrew doesn’t recall exactly how he learned it. In fact, he’s not even sure he does it correctly. He waits for the day when he either perfects it or just figures out what the real way to use it. Basically, he stabs himself with his own sword, and instead of inflicting pain, it regenerates him, slowly, but effectively. He’s found over trial and error that it heals more and faster if he strikes where the pain is coming from the most.

Personality:
He can easily be mistaken for a “player” as his association with most women is strenuous at best due to the fact he’s probably dated them, and dumped them. While he tries to mask his intelligence with brute force and rash actions, deep down he does have some sort of brain, he just doesn’t like to show it. When it comes to fighting, he gets easily enticed into battle. He’ll take any challenge, and if he institutes one, he won’t take no for an answer. Andrew could be considered some what of a leech, for when he finds someone willing to put up with his pathetic ways, he sticks with them until they become thoroughly fed up with him.

When not in battle, he’s laid back and seems to lack a proper brain. He thinks that people don’t even need to try to succeed in life. They can just drift along, and fate will take care of it yourself. Often, he is found chewing gum of some sort, he finds it to help him keep up a calm attitude. He’s not righteous per say, and often disregards his own morals, but he can’t stand it when people make fun of him.

He thinks women should be strong and that chivalry is a thing of the past. He doesn’t treat them badly, but rather as equals… Though he’s never known true love, he often wonders if a swinger like himself would ever find someone that sees past his handsome exterior.

When it comes to his looks, he is incredibly vain. He loves his hair and his sculpted body and would never let it go to waste. He’s always trying to look his best for possible girlfriends or to sometimes convince women to do what he asks, such as give him food, as he mooches off anyone, and everyone.

Having lived through a human and demon war, his rich parents made sure that he never got so much as a word about it. But thanks to his “connections”, he found out about it all. His connections being the several cute girls that came by his house daily. When it comes to his thoughts about the war, he is unsure what to think. The humans had never affected their family, thanks to the hired help from his parents. They’d never killed any of his loved ones. Not they were particularly nice though. They spat upon the ground he walked on and Andrew, being a complete moron about it all, spat back.

Still, he doesn’t care about humans. He’d much rather be with demons.

During a fight he assumes a fierce look. He tends to wear his emotions on his shoulders for all to see. If he realizes something, his opponent would probably know before his mind processes it.

Appearance:
In the part not seen in the pic, he wears brown loose pants along with matching boots.

History: He comes from a rich family and has much land in his name. But to him, that life was useless and boring. He didn’t believe money was important. He had dozens of people to cater to his every whim, but he disregarded them all. They brought him platters and platters of food and Andrew only took a humble sandwich. He thought all of this too extravagant when all he needed was a sword.

His parents were aristocrats in the demon village they lived in, and for some reason unknown to Andrew, they feared swords incredibly. The only one in their family to own a sword was his older sister who, in fact, was driven out of the family just for owning such a weapon.

When he had just turned 17, he saved a girl by the name of Celia from drowning. While being a brief encounter, he walked out of it with a new knife and an odd view of this girl who was his neighbor.

He had two brothers and one sister. Both of his brothers are younger than him, one is two years younger and the other is five years younger. His sister was on year older than him, but when he was 17 and not long after the incident with Celia, she was brutally slaughtered by his own servants. He then took up her sword and fled his house. Ever since, he’s not seen his mother, father, or brothers.

From when he was 17, he’d been training himself to be stronger, more well kept, and have a terrific sword arm. He found refuge in an inn where he lived like a normal boy, without riches, without servants.

The woman there had taken him in as he own child. He lived happily, with all the beautiful girls he could ever want. With his daily training and chores, he found his strength to improve gradually. When he felt he was strong enough, he took his leave from the inn without so much as a good bye.

Silently and as cunning as he could, he returned home with a single purpose: To take the life of the people that had kept him from living life. But when he arrived, sword in hand, he found his parents were no longer rich snobs. They lived like normal citizens and Andrew left almost sad at that fact he couldn’t dispose of them.

Ever since, he’s been wandering around without a place to call home and without a girl to call his own. The only thing that he’s kept is his attitude and his great abilities with his sword.
