The Ring works the same way. It all depends on who bears it. I'm sure that if someone had a powerful enough will they could use Majora's Mask, perhaps not only for evil. I was just pointing out similarities. Not trying to prove that the Ring somehow found it's way into Termina or vice versa. I just simply think that Nintendo used a similar idea as Tolkien (not meaning plagurism) as the quote says "Power corrupts, absolute power corrupts absolutely"
