A land of peace
Do any of you remeber playing OOT and noticing that you could only save so far into the game? That is, you never were able to actually access Hyrule after it was restored to complete peace, with the villain gone and what not. Would you want to be be able to access a peaceful Hyrule, after all of the evil is eliminated? And if so, what would it be like?

Re: A land of peace
This is actually the case with pretty much every Zelda game. It saddens me, but it makes sense. There have been games where I've wanted to go and beat the final boss again for whatever reason, and hadn't been able to. As much as I'd like to see the "restored" lands that Link saves, I'm also as thankful that I have the chance to go back and take out the bad guy again without having to trek through the whole game needlessly.
Anyways. What I see as restored OoT Hyrule is pretty much how it was/is as Child Link, except extending into the Adult period as well.

Re: A land of peace
What was there to see after Link beat Ganon? Walking around wasn't fun because Hyrule was too barren in OoT. A new quest is what I wanted to do after I beat Ganon. Well we got that didn't we? MM...

Re: A land of peace
well theres two sides to this, i would like to see hyrule at peace and what not but the other side to this is that you wont have anything to really do except collect heart pieces and stuff, but if you want to see hyrule at peace, just turn into young link after youve beat all his dungeons

Re: A land of peace
I think it would be the same as the world we get to play in exept no enemies in the game. Pretty boring if you ask me. Once you beat the game it would be pointless to play exept to restart it. If there was no evil there would be no games to play because they would be all sprots games and "Learn to Share" educational games.

Yeah that would be cool. It would've been neat to like see Hyrule Market town again when you are an adult... But I have to say that I like the idea of being able to beat the bad guy again and again. The game would then become redundant to which there wouldn't really be much to do or whatever, if you all ready had everything. The remaining evil keeps the game interesting ya know... But anyway, It still would be neat.

Re: A land of peace
If done correctly, we could have a peaceful Hyrule (with monsters still in it, however,) and with the Ocarina of Time, we could "relive" the dungeons and boss battles. That could possibly work out, and it would let you be able to re-fight every boss, not just Ganon.
