Microsoft is now offering bounties.
Microsoft will announce on Wednesday that it will offer two $250,000 bounties for information that leads to the arrest of the people who released the MSBlast worm and the SoBig virus, CNET News.com has learned.

... hrm. instead of blowing 250,000$ on a bounty that thousands of people will claim and that it will cost twice as much to sort out, why don't they just take the money and fix all the problems that will lead to more viruses in the first place...
