The first deku trees
Playing OoT, I noticed the rather large sized tree houses the kokori carved out. Could these be early forms of past deku trees that have not become the standard sized deku ones?Or could they just be normal trees of unusual size?what do you think?

I think they're just normal trees. The Kokiri are people of the forest, so it makes sense they live in harmony with nature (their house trees have sprouts, so they look still alive to me)
I think the first Deku Tree was created by the Godesses to guard the forest. I am pretty sure someone says that somewhere.........

Just regular trees, it would be weird to cut Off a Deku tree, and very offensive. Still thinking its a normal tree here. But come on .. would you kill someone and live in them?? I think not!!!

I did think a lil bit about what zora lord said and was hesitant to put this thread out for just that. Oh, and yes I have seen red woods. I just havent seen them for so very long.
