Another animal quiz...with cats!

I was disappointed that the other animal quiz labelled me as a unicorn, so I went searching for another animal quiz, and found this one:

The best thing about it, of course, is that it features various members of the family Felidae. :B

My result? Tiger. I was kind of hoping for lion, but this works as well.

It'll be interesting to see how our results match up this time.

Appearance: A big man, lumbering at about six foot four and laden with a large share of muscles, he does not look like an excitable literature afficionado. His face is wide and bland, his eyes are green-gray, and he usually wears a big smile. His face is starting to visibly age and his mangy mess of hair has lines of gray in it. He usually wears some kind of suit.
History: At some point, he became one of the leading authorities on the Dome library. He has since assisted teachers and students often in finding books.

Personality: A boisterous, joyful man who probably wouldn't be expected to be one of the leading experts on magic inside the Dome, "Grandad Navajo" is one of the most approachable teachers. He tends to be a favorite with combat students in the off-time, since he knows where all the best bars are.
Appearance: Diminutive at five foot nothing, he packs muscle like most people wouldn't believe and seems to run as an antithesis to all concepts of what healthy living might be. He has a long braid of black hair, a weathered and leathery face, and warm brown eyes. He wears deerskin trousers, moccasins, and a Grateful Dead band shirt.
History: He was born and raised in Nevada, where he still works as the shaman for his tribe. He only recently started working at the Dome and doesn't know many people.

Otherwise she looks absolutely gorgeous, with flowing black locks of curly hair, stunning violet eyes, and a smile that sparkles in a very literal sense. She is surrounded by her pixie dust aura and has crystalline butterfly wings. She wears nothing but a white sundress.

He teaches about swords, knives, guns, clubs, and other weapons because he is good with them and he wants to make fighting more of a challenge for his people.
Appearance: About seven feet tall, very muscular and fit, he has a slight elvish cast to his features. His skin is mottled dark gray and gray-blue. His has a jutting lower jaw, fangs, and his ears are long and pointed. He has no hair. He wears a suit of heavy armor that glows in a few places to indicate technological enhancements.

Personality: Katherine is a kind, lovely person. She acts out the golden rule, teaches as best as she is able, and keeps a lot of secrets. What little is known can be deduced from the fact that she is the traditional master of a Korean martial art for which there is only one successor for every generation�and that she is a master of it. What she teaches is unarmed combat involving all kinds of forms and techniques except her own.
Appearance: She is about five foot four, light in build, and pleasant to look at. She has a bob cut of blonde hair, bright blue eyes, and she is athletic. She wears practical martial arts clothing or, in her off time, typical modern clothing.

Twilight Princess turns three years old!

How about that? November 19th for US, December 2 for Japan, December 7 for Australia and December 8 for Europe...During those dates Twilight Princess was released. It's been three years and I'm sure it deserves some recognition.

...It doesn't matter if you weren't there for launch. But let's recount the story of you're first day with Twilight Princess.

After preordering the game a month before. My cousin and I stood in front of Toys 'R Us at 6 in the morning. We were the first ones in and we were pretty freakin' excited. When I got my hands on my Nintendo Wii and my copy of Twilight Princess...well I couldn't help but raise them above my head and go "Da da da daaaah!"

Oh, we got home and we were scrambling to open up everything. We couldn't even bother reading the Wii instructions we were so hyped. Pfft, as soon as everything was all hooked up we sat on my bed and watched the opening in awe. My cousin always does the voice acting, lol...she's great.

Anyways as soon as we got control of Link we had a little problem. Both of us had waited over 2 years to get the game in our hands. Both of us were extremely excited and we both HAD to play this game...at the same time. It's tradition. In fact I have many Zelda traditions. Like, after killing a boss, you're not allowed to run...you have to do the slow walk. So. Also...we can't play the game without the other one being there to at least watch. Sooo we solved our little problem when my cousin grabbed the nunchuck and I grabbed the Wiimote. Unfortunately I didn't really get to do anything because Link didn't have a sword yet...:C

Lol, after a few hours playing playing playing, we got out of Ordon (geez...) And suddenly the door bell rings. I answer it, it's my best friend and she's like "@_@ Twilight Princess!?!" And I'm like YEEEAH! And so she joined us...as a spectator. We got stuck in the Forest Temple because SOMEONE...(my cousin) wouldn't check the pole that had the chest hidden ontop of it.

The bomblings were a pain in the butt. In order to left something you can't move the analog...when you press A. Everytime I tried to lift something, my cuz was moving forward making Link roll into the wall or something. xD And then we had issues throwing because when I pressed A...she WASN'T moving forward. It's so strange...just imagine having 2 brains that never knew what the other brain was doing...that's what Link was like. >_>

Wow, on the first day we got all the way to the Fire Temple. Er, Goron Mines. The sumo wrestling was hilarious...we couldn't share the controller for that so we just took turns...because we really couldn't figure out the concept...until I just decided to slap over and over again. Not because it worked, but because I thought it was hilarious. So. Goron Mines. My cousin is moving Link around and falls right into the lava...Link is dying now...so we leave and get a 2 hearts. xD Then I said "Lemme try" and...since this was my first time with a nunchuck...I fell right into the lava too. I seriously...like jumped in the opposite direction of where I thought I was going. Feeling that this was impossible Tiff (my cousin) and I traded the controller over and over and then my best friend...(who can't play Zelda very well...at all) was like "You guys suck" and she took the controller and did it for us.

We stood amazed by the mad skillz...That was really pathetic though, I've never had that problem before or ever again. I do believe we got all the way to Lanayru in Twilight. Then it was like 11 PM and a school night. Was a good night though. I was thinking of just pulling an all nighter.

Should I get a Game Genie to Beat Zelda II?

I've had the game for while now, and I can only get 1/2 way through the 2nd dungeon in the swamp, I even got through the Water Town of Saria and then I die epically in the cave network. Now all I do is make fun of Error and other townsfolk's weird speech phrases, and wonder how come a mountain village was named after Ruto, a water village named after Saria etc. :P

So should I buy a Game Genie to finish the game? Can I at least use it to give me some more lives? I mean having 3 lives in a zelda game is hersey!

This sorta went unnoticed. As you all know, Konami gave Castlevania the "rebirth" treatment; for some miraculous reason, Konami is doing the same for the cult classic Rocket Knight Adventures series.

I'm interested in seeing how this turns out; however, in my opinion, much of the visual charm that was present in the old games doesn't seem to be present in the style of this new game. Eh, I mean, it looks alright, but it just doesn't seem as dynamic as it should.

Thoughts?

How can I get into the Temple of Time early?

I'm replaying TP and looking for a way to get to the Temple of Time without beating Snowpeak Ruins yet. Does anyone know of a some sort of glitch (there are thousands of known glitches so there must be something for this) that would allow me to do this? I've already beaten City in the Sky using the "early City in the Sky" trick, which means I have the completed mirror of twilight (the game only checks for the last piece). Basically I need to 1) get to the Door of Time, and 2) open it. The main problem is that I don't have a warp point to the Sacred Grove, and I can't get back into it because once I enter the first room from the Faron Woods entrance all of the doorways in it are sealed and Skull Kid isn't around. So does anyone know of some glitches that might work for this? Thanks

Yes, you read that correctly. The True Identities of the TriForce.

I will keep this brief. It does not even belong in Theorizing, as it is simply Zelda history in its purest form, but you may do with it what you please ;0)

There are three TriForce pieces.

One piece is named Zelda, another Link, and another Ganon. They are actually semi-spiritual beings who form symbiotic, metaphysical relationships with their hosts.

These beings (the TriForce pieces) tend to appreciate continuing on through bloodlines of their former hosts, but they are not constrained to this convention (necessity and tradition having a say in all).
