Link Link is a young boy that battles evil to defend the kingdom of Hyrule. When Link is returning from a journey far away from Hyrule, he is shipwrecked in a great storm and is found on the shore of a mysterious island called Koholint. Link is a young boy of fifteen who possesses a lot of courage in his heart. He often dreams of the Princess Zelda and sometimes associates Marin with her presence. Marin  The beauty of Koholint Island hold the name of Marin. This young women lives with her father, Tarin, as they live a peaceful life on the island. When Link is shipwrecked, Tarin rescues him and lets him rest in her bed until he is well. Marin has an amazing vocal talent and sings a melody called the "Ballad of the Wind Fish". Marin is very fond of Link and wishes he will never leave her alone. Tarin  Tarin is the father of the young girl Marin, and he does a fine job raising her. Tarin is an excellent hiker and is very fond of mushrooms, but sometimes he risks his life to get a hold of some! When Marin finds Link, Tarin is very gracious and keeps his shield for him and instructs Link to where he can find his lost sword. Tarin, although rather comical, is very wise and has a lot to teach Link. Owl  The mysterious Owl that flies across Koholint Island has the ability to speak and holds vast knowledge on just about everything. When he meets Link, he tells the young lad that he is the one to awaken the Wind Fish and free this island, for Link is the chosen one. The Owl keeps up with Link throughout his adventure, and guides him in his quest by sharing his wisdom. |
