Description: Impa is a simple character: the always helpful protector of Zelda. She realizes that she can’t protect Zelda alone so she calls on Link to help. She’s a very similar character in LoZ, AoL, OoS, and OoA but she’s almost a completely different character in OoT although she fills the same roll as Zelda’s protector.

Games: A Link to the Past

Description: Other then having the most amazing name ever created in a video game, Shahsrala is amazing in other ways. He has an uncanny sense of knowledge and knows about every secret ever told including the legend of The Master Sword. He can also guide Link on his journey using telepathy.

Games: A Link to the Past

Description: The lumberjacks in A Link to the Past were two mysterious hard forest workers, who spend their time cutting old trees in the Lost Woods with a giant serrated saw. They were able to come to the aid of Link by cutting a tree which happened to have a passage inside.

Games: Link's Awakening

Description: Tarin is a funny old man mostly for the fact that he loves mushrooms, will risk his life to get them, gets cursed by a witch for his love of mushrooms and becomes a raccoon, and oddly resembles Mario. He is Marin's wise father and despite his quirkiness he can still give Link helpful advice on his quest.

Games: Link's Awakening

Description: Who doesn't love Marin, The lovable daughter of Tarin? She finds Link washed up on the beach and takes him to her peaceful house to rest. She also has amazing vocal talents and sings Link the all important Ballad of the Wind Fish. She's also very infatuated with Link and bears a startling resemblance to Zelda, whom Link mistakes her for. What's not to like?

Description: Poor Mr. Write: He's in love with a mysterious lover named Christine. He is constantly writing to her and being deceived by her. She sent him a picture of herself who happens to be Princess Peach, a big cameo. We know Christine can't look like that, so what does Christine really look like?
