When Ocarina of Time was released, there were many elements that had
been removed after being tested out in the early stages. By using a
GameShark, you can gain access to some of these test areas. These have
been sources for numerous rumours about the game, but they are in fact
just elements which was pulled out of the game before the final
release. Thanks goes out to Droshi for providing us with these
screenshots. This is where the Beta Quest starts.. Everyone will recognize it!  Adult Link goes for a visit at Lord Jabu-Jabu.  A good view of Jabu-Jabu..  Imagine the look on Link's face when he discovered Jabu had two sets of teeth in the beta version!  Now lets fly over to Kokiri Forest.  That's a pretty big fall..  Only to find out that there's nobody home!  Holy Jeebus! What is that?!  Looks like Farore is visiting the Great Deku Tree.  Maybe she was intended to have a role in the story telling in the beginning of the game?  Anyways, here are all three of the Goddesses, together!  And they all look the same except for the colors of the "tails".  Now for a visit in the Chamber of Sages!  Hyrule Field was pretty dead .. In addition there was no music either.  Again, Jabu-Jabu. You can see a Pedestal with the Ocarina on it. That was clearly removed from the game.  A closer look at the Pedestal.  The entrance to Hyrule Castle Town. The bridge seems to be missing!  Access to Kakariko Village in flames was also granted.  And look who decided to join! To bad it was just a hologram which you could walk right through..  Inside the Ice Cavern. That door looks a bit mis-placed, eh?  A room which was never finished before it was removed from the game.  A second look.  And one at the door as well..  This is a strange pink pedestal of ice!
