Every month Zelda Universe stays online, money must be spent on the server and various other costs required in keeping the site afloat - this adds up to many thousands of dollars a year.

Generally, our advertisements generate enough revenue to cover the server bill, but unfortunately that is not always the case, and in those cases, we have to put out the money to keep the site up from our own pockets. By donating a sum of your own choice, you help us out in these months when the ad revenue won't cover the server bill and other related costs, such as forum software licences.
