Sword You will find that the Sword and its wide array of attacks will come in handy, especially when fighting enemies rather than your opponents in the game. Be sure to use it to its full extent! If you get the Four Sword, you will be able to shoot beams out of your Sword when your Heart Meter is full. Roc's Feather  In certain stages, Roc's Feather can be extremely useful, as you will be almost possible to catch for your opponents with it equipped, because it gives you the ability to jump and reach places you otherwise wouldn't be able to access. If you jump and attack at the same time, you will inflict heavy damage to your opponents. The level 2 version of Roc's Feather will allow you to do a double-jump! Bomb  Pick it up, throw it, wait and watch it explode. That's how it goes, unless you get a direct hit and it will explode immediately on impact. A very useful weapong for use when fighting your opponents, but if you get the upgraded level 2 Bomb, it will be much more powerful and ever better to use in battle! Bow and Arrow  A very useful weapon, especially when your opponents are standing with their backs against you. You will have to fully charge the Bow to get full effect from the arrows, as it won't go through any items unless it is fully charged. With the level 2 Bow you can fire three arrows at once! Boomerang  You can use the Boomerang to stun your enemies and retrieve Force Gems from far away. If you hold down the attack button, the Boomerang will also stay in one place until you let go of the button, which can be handy. Use it to pull your opponents closer to you! The upgraded level 2 Boomerang will go farther and faster. Fire Rod  With the Fire Rod you can shoot flames, or even use it as a flame thrower if you hold down the button! Use it to wreak havoc amongst your opponents! It is upgradeable, and the Level 2 Fire Rod can create blocks which will explode and shoot flames in four directions when you press the A button. Slingshot  The Slingshot is a very useful weapon, because it will let you fire stones at enemies and hit certain switches which are out of your reach. If you charge it fully, you will be able to fire a projectile which will go straight across the room. The upgraded Level 2 version of the Slingshot is much more powerful, and can fire three stones at once! Shovel  It might come as a surprise, but the Shovel is used mainly for one thing, and that is digging. Throughout the world of Hyrule, there are many various treasures hidden in the soil, and with this item you can find them all. It becomes even easier to locate the treasures when the Shovel is upgraded, as it will then make a sound when you step on a treasure. Lantern  By using the Lantern, Link can easily fight off his fear of the dark. In other words, it lights up dark rooms. It can also be used to burn away the annoying grass that fills up the overworld of Hyrule. Magic Hammer  With the Magic Hammer you can finally beat those annoying enemies down through the ground and all the way to Termina! Okay, it might not be that powerful, but at least you can beat them into the ground, or of you miss them they will be stunned by the vibration caused. Once you upgrade to the Level 2 Magic Hammer, it will make for more powerful vibrations, and will turn some enemies on their backs, and even reveal spikes in the floor. Pegasus Boots  The Pegasus Boots are invaluable to Link at the later stages of the game, as they make him at least twice as fast as he originally was. Needless to say, this comes in handy when avoding enemy attacks, and in many other scenarios as well. With the upgraded Pegasus Boots, Link will even be able to run through one block long gaps in the floor. Amazing! |
