Ocarina Songs
Just as in the predecessor of this game, Ocarina of Time, the songs play a very important role in Majora's Mask. As you proceed in the game you will find both old and familiar songs, as well as brand new ones that will get to your head! Below is a collection of all the songs, where to get them, and their effects.

There are two "hidden" songs in the game that will let you manipulate the flow of time. If you are unable to discover them simply go to our Cheats & Tips page to find them, as we do not want to spoil the fun of trying to discover these two songs for anyone!

Song of Time
RightADownRightADown
A memory of Princess Zelda will teach you this song when you manage to steal back your Ocarina of Time from Skull Kid. When you play it, you will go back to the start of Day One.

Song of Healing
LeftRightDownLeftRightDown
The Happy Mask Salesman will teach you this song after you get your Ocarina back from Skull Kid. With this song you will heal a broken soul and give peace to those who cannot rest.

Epona's Song
UpLeftRightUpLeftRight
Use this song to call for Epona, and she will join you all over Hyrule field. However, she is not able to enter specific areas such as Clock Town. Romani will teach you this song after you finish the training which consists of popping the 10 alien balloons.

Song of Soaring
DownLeftUpDownLeftUp
Once you have activated an owl statue which is hidden throughout the very land of Termina, you can use this song to warp to that specific statue. Be sure to be on the lookout for new statues, as warping will save much time compared to walking, and even riding Epona! You learn it from a stone tablet on the wall up on a ledge near the Deku Palace.

Song of Storms
ADownUpADownUp
You will learn this song from a stone tablet, right after defeating the Iron Knuckle. Use it song to stop the Composer Brother who resides in Ikana Village from hurting you!

Sonata of Awakening
UpLeftUpLeftARightA
With this secret song of the Deku Tribe, you will be able to get access to the Woodfall Temple. Be sure to be using your Deku Mask while playing it, or the song will have no effect. Talk to the Monkey being held prisoner in the Deku Palace, and it will teach you this song.

Goron Lullaby
ARightLeftARightLeftRightA
Learn the first part from the frozen Goron Elder, and the last part from the crying Baby Goron in the Shrine. It is an ancient song passed down by the Gorons. Played with Goron Drums, this will make small and big Gorons fall asleep!

New Wave Bossa Nova
LeftUpLeftRightDownLeftRight
Once you have collected all the Zora eggs, they will teach you this song. Use it to awaken the sad Lulu from her sorrowful trance, and she will give you instructions on how to access the Great Bay Temple!

Elegy of Emptiness
RightLeftRightDownRightUpLeft
Defeat King Yigorse and his two skeleton soldiers to learn this song, which is used to create a funny-looking replica of yourself. You can create up to four different statues at the same time, one for each of your forms.

Oath to Order
RightDownADownRightUp
Learned early in the game, after defeating the first boss. If you play this when fighting Skullkid, you will awaken the Four Giants, and they will stop the moon from falling into Termina, for a while at least...
