 Keep your heads straight, because it's april 1st. But, since there's a real trailer coming up with this news, we just have to show it to you...
IGN just came up with the exclusive news that there's a real movie on its way, covering The Legend of Zelda-series. There were a lot of fan-projects already, but this should be 'the real thing'. Along with this news, they came up with a trailer:

If a Zelda movie were to be made, I truly believe you could not simply take one of the games (or many of the games mashed together) and write it into a screenplay. For it to be a story that would work on film, you would need much more depth of characters, much less of what this trailer seems to offer. I don't think literally making a movie of Zelda itself would be possible, without it looking like a children's film, which I sincerely hope it would not. The green hat and suit may seem ordinary to those of us who play the series obsessively, but to the casual moviegoer, let's face it: Ganondorf looks like something straight from a Disney flick, and Zelda looks like the elf girl from LotR (forgive me for not knowing her name, Rings fans, I've never seen the movies or read the books). And, like someone said... It says the release is April 1st 2009. That pretty much confirms it as a hoax. |

I couldn't even take a movie like this, as much as I love horrible rip off movies. Not on something I love this dearly.
